Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer as well as an animal rights activist. Ali MacGraw is known for films such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. Her desire to be an artist was inspired by her family background in an New York family of artists. She started as a photographer's assistant, and then turned to modeling and acting. The award she received was the Golden Globe Award, for the most promising debutant. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned the world to her in addition to being as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. In just three films MacGraw was named one of the most successful women in box office history. In Grauman's Chinese Theater, in 1972, she was able to have her name and footprints hand-engraved. Other credits comprise The Getaway Convoy Players, television miniseries The Winds of War and others. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography was published. MacGraw was divorced three times.
