Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress, best known for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. The Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first show she performed in when she made her stage debut. She then acted in several Broadway shows before becoming the most famous on stage together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. In the year 1957, she made her debut album named It's time to Tina. Her debut appearance into Hollywood was when she played Griselda on God's Little Acre, a 1958 drama. The film was met with wide applause. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. When she was in New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her friendship to Lee Strasberg. Her next unforgettable role was in 1964. The actress signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise continued to have a successful professional career that combines Broadway TV with Hollywood and portraying somber, as opposed to her glamour-doll image was perceived. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 & Sanctuary however she also was an effective television director in numerous series, including Supernatural and The 100. Her family relocated out of Essex to Toronto, where she spent growing up and in adolescence. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver in Canada following her choice for the lead role.
