Sharp learned to play the clarinet, piano as well as cello at the Hochstein School of Music in Rochester. Sharp's love for theater in high school led her to the Boston Conservatory where she was given a scholarship. Cum Laude, where she was awarded the B.F.A. Sharp began her journey performing on stage following her graduation at the Conservatory. Sharp was a part of the Broadway National Tour of Carousel as well as debuted Off Broadway with Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. In the comedy that was interactive, Eat the Runt, she was a variety of characters. Other theatrical productions include: Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin' Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp performed alongside writer August Wilson himself. Sharp is also working on other projects in the works alongside her work for the stage and screen. Apart from performing, she is currently working on an album. Sharp likes to stay fit and is always in good shape by studying Krav Maga and boxing. Sharp lives with her family in Los Angeles with family.
