Sharp was a student of clarinet, keyboard and cello at the Hochstein School of Music in Rochester. Following a successful application to The Boston Conservatory because of her love for theater in schools Sharp applied to The Boston Conservatory. The Cum Laude's B.F.A. was awarded to Sharp upon her graduation. Sharp decided to go into the theatre following her graduation from Cum Laude with the B.F.A. Sharp played in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Sharp is also a part of Abyssinia and Aida and also Thunder Knockin, Jitney along with The Producers. She was even a reader for August Wilson's Come and Gone. Sharp is also working on other projects in the works, in addition to the projects for stage and screen. She continues to sing, and has a full-length album that is in development. Sharp she is frequently in front or behind camera and in the recording studio, is a fitness enthusiast. Sharp studies Krav Maga as well as boxing. Sharp likes to play piano, hike and take long road trip. Sharp lives with her husband and children in Los Angeles.
